Veterans Support Program

Purpose

The Veterans Support & Resource Program is designed to provide veterans and their families with information, encouragement, resource connections, and opportunities to connect with others who understand the unique experiences and challenges that veterans and military families may face.

Our goal is to help veterans connect with available community resources while creating a welcoming and supportive environment.

Services & Support

• Veteran Resource Navigation – Information and referrals to available community, employment, housing, education, and other support resources.

• Virtual Veteran Support Groups – Online group sessions providing an opportunity for veterans to connect, share experiences, encourage one another, and build supportive connections.

• In-Person Support Groups – In-person gatherings may be offered when space, volunteers, funding, and other resources are available.

• Employment & Career Resources – Connections to employment resources, career-readiness opportunities, and workforce support.

• Housing & Community Resources – Assistance identifying available housing and community-based resources.

• Family & Caregiver Resources – Information and referrals for families and caregivers seeking support and community resources.

• Community Connection – Opportunities for veterans to build positive connections and participate in community activities.

• Encouragement & Peer Support – A safe, respectful environment where participants can connect with others and receive encouragement.

• Veterans

• Veteran spouses and caregivers

• Veterans transitioning to civilian life

• Veterans seeking employment, housing, education, or community resources

Support Group Format

Virtual Groups:
Virtual support groups will be offered as resources and participation allow. Meeting information, schedules, and registration details will be provided through Pathways.

In-Person Groups:
In-person groups and activities may be offered based on available space, volunteers, community resources, and organizational capacity.

We do not provide medical, mental health, legal, or clinical services. When specialized assistance is needed, participants may be connected with appropriate qualified providers and organizations.
