Education Support Program

Program Overview

The Education Support Program assists young adults in exploring educational opportunities, setting academic goals, and accessing resources that support learning and career advancement. The program encourages participants to pursue education, training, certifications, and other pathways that help them achieve long-term success.

Program Age Range: 18–24

To support young adults in identifying, pursuing, and achieving educational goals through guidance, encouragement, resource referrals, and educational planning.

Participants receive support in identifying educational goals and developing realistic plans to achieve them.

College & University Exploration

Guidance is provided regarding college options, admissions processes, educational requirements, and available resources.

Trade School & Certification Programs

Participants explore vocational training, apprenticeship opportunities, certification programs, and skilled trade careers.

Financial Aid & Scholarship Referrals

Information and referrals are provided regarding financial aid opportunities, scholarships, grants, and educational funding resources.

Academic Support Referrals

Participants are connected with tutoring services, educational programs, study resources, and academic support organizations when available.

Career Pathway Exploration

Participants explore educational pathways that align with their interests, strengths, and career goals.

Educational Resource Navigation

Assistance is provided in locating educational programs, workforce training opportunities, continuing education resources, and community learning programs.

Encouragement & Accountability Support

Ongoing support helps participants remain focused on their educational objectives and celebrate milestones along the way.

The Education Support Program provides educational guidance, mentorship, support, and resource referrals. Program staff and volunteers are not academic advisors, school counselors, financial aid professionals, attorneys, or licensed educational consultants. Participants requiring specialized services will be referred to appropriate educational institutions or community resources.
