Youth Mentorship & Guidance Program
Program Overview
The Youth Mentorship & Guidance Program is designed to provide supportive mentorship, encouragement, and practical guidance to young adults as they navigate personal, educational, career, and life challenges. Through positive relationships and structured support, participants are empowered to build confidence, develop healthy decision-making skills, and work toward achieving their goals.
Program Age Range: 18–24
Program Purpose
To empower youth and young adults by providing mentorship, guidance, encouragement, and access to resources that support personal growth, independence, and future success.
Program Goals
Promote self-confidence and self-esteem. Encourage positive decision-making. Support personal and professional development. Foster accountability and responsibility. Assist participants in setting and achieving goals. Connect participants with community resources and opportunities.
Program Services
One-on-One Mentorship
Participants are matched with a mentor who provides guidance, encouragement, and support through regular meetings and check-ins.
Goal Setting & Planning
Mentors assist participants in identifying personal, educational, employment, and life goals while developing achievable action plans.
Personal Development Support
Discussions focus on self-confidence, self-awareness, motivation, resilience, and overcoming challenges.
Decision-Making & Problem-Solving Skills
Participants learn strategies for making informed decisions, evaluating options, and addressing obstacles effectively.
Educational & Career Guidance
Mentors provide support related to educational planning, job readiness, career exploration, and future opportunities.
Resource Navigation
Participants receive referrals and connections to community resources, educational programs, employment services, and support organizations when appropriate.
Accountability & Encouragement
Mentors help participants stay focused on their goals by providing ongoing motivation, encouragement, and progress reviews.

Expected Outcomes Program Delivery

The Youth Mentorship & Guidance Program provides mentorship, support, encouragement, and resource referrals. Program staff and volunteers are not licensed therapists, counselors, psychiatrists, attorneys, or medical professionals. Participants requiring specialized services will be referred to appropriate community resources.
