Milestone Project
Youth & Young Adult Milestone Support Program (Ages 15–25)
The Milestone Project is a support program designed to assist youth and young adults with essential clothing needs
for important life milestones such as prom, graduation, and other formal or academic events.
Because resources and donated items are limited, this program operates through a
fair and structured lottery system to ensure equal opportunity for all applicants.
What the Program Provides
When selected through the lottery, participants may receive:
Prom dresses and suits
Graduation outfits
Shoes and accessories (based on availability)
Support for school or special milestone events
College presentation or interview attire (when available)
Who Can Apply
This program is available for:
Youth ages 15–18 (high school students)
Young adults ages 18–25 (including college students)
Applicants must demonstrate a need for assistance with milestone-related clothing or attire.
How the Lottery System Works
Because items are limited, assistance is awarded through a fair lottery process:
Applications are submitted during open enrollment periods
All eligible applicants are entered into a random selection lottery
Selected individuals are notified directly
Items are distributed based on availability and size matching
Applicants not selected may reapply in future cycles
Program Cycle
The Milestone Project operates in cycles (example):
Spring Cycle (Prom & Graduation season)
Additional cycles may open depending on donations and availability
Program Purpose
The goal of the Milestone Project is to ensure that young people can participate in important life events
with dignity, confidence, and pride—regardless of financial barriers.
We believe that every milestone matters, and every young person deserves
the opportunity to show up prepared for their moment.
Important Note
This program is fully donation-based and dependent on community contributions.
Availability is not guaranteed,
and participation in the lottery does not ensure selection.
Closing Statement
“Every milestone deserves a moment. Every young person deserves to be seen.”
