The Resource Navigation & Referral Program connects youth and young adults with community resources, services, and opportunities that support stability, personal growth, education, employment, and independence. Through guidance, information sharing, and community partnerships, participants receive assistance identifying resources that align with their individual needs and goals.
To help young adults access supportive resources and community services that promote stability, opportunity, and successful transitions into adulthood.
Increase awareness of available community resources. - Help participants identify appropriate services and support systems.
Reduce barriers to education, employment, housing, and personal success. - Encourage self-advocacy and independence.
Strengthen connections between youth and community organizations. - Support participants in navigating available opportunities.
Participants receive information and referrals to community resources related to:
Housing assistance programs - Transitional housing resources - Emergency housing contacts - Housing stability services - Independent living resources
Participants are connected with resources that support employment goals, including:
Workforce development programs - Job training opportunities - Career development services - Employment assistance programs - Apprenticeship opportunities
Participants receive connections to:
Adult education programs - GED resources - College information - Trade school opportunities - Scholarship and educational support resources
Participants may be connected to organizations and services that provide:
Food assistance resources - Clothing assistance - Transportation resources - Community programs - Family support services
Participants may receive referrals to appropriate community resources related to:
Healthcare access - Wellness programs - Mental health resources - Support services
